Charles Darwin Convocation

Charles Darwin is an SRIA College which meets in Shrewsbury.

The College was consecrated on 30th October 2004 and is College No.73 of the SRIA, within the Province of Western Counties and North Wales. The College was named Charles Darwin after the famous Naturalist who was born in Shrewsbury.

The regular meetings of the College are known as Convocations. Once each year an ‘Installation’ meeting is held where a qualified Frater of the Order is appointed to the chair of the College for the ensuing year.
