Coleum Philosophorum

A translation of Paracelsus' Coleum Philosophorum by A.E. Waite.

Philippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim (1493 – 1541) was a Swiss-born, Austrian Physician also applying himself to the knowledge of Alchemy, Philosophy, Botany, Astrology and the Occult. He used the name "Paracelsus", meaning "equal to or greater than Celsus" which referred to Aulus Cornelius Celsus from the 1st century AD author of ‘De Medicina’.
